Northeastern Thai dinner at Golden Mile
Slightly under the weather today, however, still decided to follow through original plan and met up with a couple of friends who I haven't seen for a while. Though hungry at a table of Issarn delicacies, I ate very carefully and avoided the spicier dishes.
The roast chicken is slightly underwhelming today but still a safe and tasty choice. Roast pork was lean and a bit dull without the chili dip. That's pretty much all I had. Well, then my friend convinced me to wash it down with a glass of "gwai-lo leung cha", literally white man's herbal tea, or in English, beer. Not bad.
